After having spent most of his childhood playing videogames and learning programming, Paolo became a computer engineer and started working on a variety of projects in different application fields.

He joined Horizen Labs in 2021 and now leads the team responsible for the development of Zendoo, the blockchain software behind the cryptocurrency called Zen.
